Milana

Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub of the American is an actor comedian, activist, and actress. She was born in the Soviet Union to Jewish immigrants and began her career after her move from Israel to the United States as a child actor. In AT&T television commercials, she played the role as Lily Adams (saleswoman) from 2013 to 2016 and then in until 2020. She was a regular host on the Yahoo! Screen science fiction comedy Other Space (2015). She also starred in the role of a regular character in the NBC drama This Is Us (2016)-2017. Vayntrub was originally cast as the character Squirrel Girls in Marvel Rising's pilot that was never aired for New Warriors in 2018, has voiced the character since. Vayntrub is a Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic (USSR) native and an American Jew. When she was just two she left together with her parents to the U.S. to escape antisemitism. She moved to West Hollywood. When she was five, she began appearing in Mattel Barbie commercials. This was partly due to the economic hardships in her family. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. She dropped out of school following her sophomore year. She was able to get a GED and then obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Communication) from University of California San Diego. She was introduced to improv comedy through the Upright Citizens Brigade.
